Explain Boolean Operators.

A search criterion in this workspace includes:

When all search criteria are entered, click the SEARCH button and you'll arrive at the Search Results screen, which lists all titles that match your criteria.

 

Search Examples:

If your search criterion contains a comma, apostrophe, or wildcard symbol (?, $ or *), or includes the words and, or, or not, use quotation marks around the search criterion. If your search criterion contains the word and, use an ampersand. For example:

ti="to have & have not"

ti="Are you there God? It's me, Margaret"

pe="peter o'toole" and aw=golden globe

 

Some other examples:

su=charles dickens andnot kw=christmas will return titles by Charles Dickens that don't have the keyword "Christmas" in the record.

au=tom clancy and py=1998 will return titles by Tom Clancy published in 1998.
