Download Title Information

What can you download from booksinprint.com?

• Brief Record Information (the data about a title on the Search Results screen) or
• Full Record Information (the data contained on all the tabs belonging to a title record)

Then you can optionally add any of the following:

• Notes & Quantity information (if the title you're e-mailing is included on a list)
• Synopsis (if available)
• Reviews (if available and if you subscribe to the Reviews option)
• Author Biography (if available)
• Stock Availability information (if available)

You can download any of the above in the following formats:

• ASCII
• CSV (Comma Separated Values)
• USMARC

How do you complete a download request?

After you've initiated a download request from one of the screens above, you'll arrive at this form:

Windows will ask you to save the file, which you can rename and place in the folder of your choice. If saving as ASCII file, change the file extension from ".bip" to ".txt" and change "save as" from "bip" to "all files."
