| Author/Contributor |
A "contributor" is someone who made a significant contribution to a title in the Books In Print database -- such as the person who wrote the preface of a book, a ghost writer, co-author, motion picture director, motion picture producer, a key voice in an audiobook, etc. Authors are the key writer of a title. For a list of authors and contributors, click BROWSE on the top navigation bar or bottom navigation bar. Then click Author/Contributor. |

Award names and winners of awards are compiled from various sources by R.R. Bowker's staff. Booksinprint.com includes titles that have about 300 key book, audio or video/motion picture awards. For a list of awards, click AWARDS on the top navigation bar or bottom navigation bar. |

| Binding |

| Children's Subject |

There are three keyword indexes. The Keyword in Title index includes all non-article words in all titles in the database. This index helps users locate a record when they're only sure of a word or phrase from the title.
The Keyword in Subject index includes all the subject terms from all the subject indexes. For example, the keyword-in-subject "computer" covers all titles with the word "computer" anywhere in the subject category. The Keyword (Any) Index includes all non-article words in the entire record, excluding words that appear only in the annotation (if available), reviews (if available), and table of contents (if available). |

The Language Index separates titles into their current language, original language or the language the title is dubbed, narrated or subtitled in. For a list of languages, click BROWSE on the top navigation bar or bottom navigation bar. Then click Language. |
| MPAA Rating |
"MPAA" refers to "Motion Picture Association of America." For a list of MPAA ratings, click BROWSE on the top navigation bar or bottom navigation bar. Then click MPAA Rating. |

"Performers" are actors/actresses, and producers and directors of motion pictures and voices that read audiobooks. For a list of all performers, click BROWSE on the top navigation bar or bottom navigation bar. Then choose Performer. |
| Publisher Name | For a list of all publishers in Bowker's Publisher Authority Database, click BROWSE on the top navigation bar or bottom navigation bar. Then choose Publisher Name. |
